My subject matter is inspired by personal observations, experiences, storytelling & the human condition. Much of my work is figurative and developed through lots of life drawing. Recently I have gone back to my graphic roots making new work using Letterpress and often combing text with silkscreen and relief printmaking.
I studied Graphic Design & Illustration at Camberwell School of Art and there I made my first artists books, and discovered and fell in love with printmaking. From Camberwell I went on to Post-Graduate Printmaking at Brighton School of Art. I moved into teaching, gained MA in Art and Education at U.C.E. in Birmingham and for many years taught art and ran projects in Arts in Health/Therapeutic Arts provision. Now I concentrate on making my own work. I am a member of the Regional Print Centre and Marches Book Arts Group and copies of Prints are available in the Dotty Dog Gallery
