More About Me

My subject matter is inspired by personal observations, experiences, storytelling & the human condition.   Much of my work has always been figurative and developed through lots of life drawing. Recently I have been making work using letterpress text with silkscreen and relief printmaking.

In 2019 I will be showing/selling my books at  Edinburgh 9th & 10th Feb.  At BABE – Bristol Book Arts Fair in the Arnolfini Gallery on Mar. 30th & 31st. and Turn the Page in Norwich on 17th 18th & 19th May.  In 2018 I was at The Small Publishers Fair  and Liverpool Print Fair and  Liverpool Artists Book Fair and  Manchester Artists Book Fair . My work was also exhibited last year at several local exhibitions and events in Shropshire & Powis.

I studied Graphic Design & Illustration at Camberwell School of Art where I made my first artists books and fell in love with printmaking. After Camberwell I went on to Post-Graduate Printmaking at Brighton School of Art then moved into teaching, gained MA in Art and Education at U.C.E. in Birmingham. For many years I taught art and worked in Arts in Health/Therapeutic Arts provision but now I concentrate on making my own work. I am a member of the Regional Print Centre,   Marches Book Arts Group  and The British Printing Society  Copies of Prints are available in the Dotty Dog Gallery
