My subject matter is inspired by personal observations and experiences, storytelling & the human condition.   My love of text, illustration and print began when I was an art student. I studied Graphic Design & Illustration at Camberwell School of Art, made my first artists books and fell in love with the processes of printmaking. After Post-Graduate Printmaking at Brighton School of Art I moved into teaching and later gained MA in Art and Education at U.C.E. in Birmingham. For many years I taught art and ran projects for all ages mostly in the Community and in Arts in Health/Therapeutic Arts provision. Now that I am retired from teaching I concentrate on making my own work.
